Based on the Caribbean Sea coastline of Colombia, South America this designer brings their creations to life by employing women to sew in their own homes across the country. These artisans are mothers, caregivers and providers. Working from home offers a flexible schedule and allows them to invest time and care into every piece they create.
The designer also donates a portion of unused textiles to Germen de Paz, a local non-profit seeking to improve the lives of displaced Colombians through education, civics, and community-building. The remaining part of these materials are repurposed by another local non-profit that makes clothes for children living in poverty.
