An average of 10 hours is spent creating SZ's printed dresses. Each pattern has its own history, so before making anything the designer speaks to their printers to find out how old it is, when it was last used and as much as possible about its historical significance. They care deeply about the heritage of the prints and hope they are enjoyed by a new generation. SZ is always looking closely at how to make their supply chain as low-impact as possible - from ensuring all the packing materials are recyclable to creating hang tags made from excess cotton pulp. The designer created a foundation which works with local organizations in Jaipur to support vocational training and empowerment programs for women.
