Asantii Ditoro Embroidered Dress Blue

When we discovered the line in London, our goose bumps were off the charts.  Gorgeous, beautifully crafted pieces that truly truly make the world a better place. We jumped at the chance to bring these pieces to you.

A pan-Africa label, the timeless pieces are all created in Rwanda. The company takes very seriously its mission to not only elevate African fashion but to create a circular model that takes care of each and every artisan. A low cost grocery store, clean water stations, above normal wages, free nursery for the artisan's children, free sanitary products, free healthy balanced lunches are just a few of the community building initiatives that are in place.

The name Ditoro {De-toh-ro} means "dreams" in Sesotho, a South African language.

3/4 length balloon sleeve, dropped shoulder, hand embroidery stitch detail (produced by a Rwandan Embroidery Cooperative), relaxed fit, back zip, deep pleat on front and back of skirt, cotton voile lined skirt, pockets!

This garment is made from material that is at least 80% derived from organic farming, free from harmful AZO dyes and phthalates and uses CmiA (cotton made in Africa using water saving Sahara process).

 58% cotton 42% linen

Runs a bit narrower in the bust area, we recommend sizing up based on your preferences.
